LED-Conversion-Kit Mercedes-Benz MK
With the Scheinwerfer LUXX LED conversion kit, you can upgrade your Mercedes-Benz medium-duty truck (such as the 1117, 1017, 914, 917, or 918, as well as any other vehicle sharing the same bumper—part number: 673 880 01 70) to state-of-the-art Nolden AVEGO or AVEGO Edge LED headlights.
Nolden Cars&Concepts is a German developer and manufacturer of high-quality LED headlights and a Tier 1 supplier to vehicle manufacturers (OEMs). Scheinwerfer LUXX incorporates these lights into various conversion kits designed to upgrade older vehicles with cutting-edge LED lighting.
Two generations of Nolden LED headlights are currently available: 3rd-generation LED technology is used in the Nolden AVEGO, while 4th-generation technology is featured in the Nolden AVEGO Edge. You are free to choose between these generations of lights.

AVEGO
AVEGO headlights are available in two versions: "O" and "U". This refers exclusively to the continuous light guide, which either encircles all four sides ("O") or is masked at the top ("U"), causing the daytime running light and position light to illuminate in a "U" shape.

AVEGO Edge
The AVEGO Edge represents the next generation of the AVEGO series. The low-beam headlight delivers 4% more output and provides broader, more uniform illumination, while the high-beam headlight offers a 22% increase in output.
The daytime running light, position light, and turn signal are no longer designed as wraparound light guides but instead feature prominent, beveled bars at the top and bottom. Additionally, a matching set of tail lights is now available in the same design, allowing for a cohesive lighting look all around the vehicle.
Both headlight types are IP6K9K certified, meaning they are waterproof at a water depth of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.

The Scheinwerfer LUXX LED-Conversion-Kit
The mounting bracket is made entirely of A2 stainless steel and powder-coated in RAL 9005. Custom colors are available upon request for an additional charge. Most edges are chamfered to counteract the tendency of powder coating to pull away from sharp edges and to improve the tactile feel and visual appeal.
Our conversion kit is installed into the bumper. This requires cutting away a portion of the rear turn signal housing; using an appropriate saw or tool is strongly recommended. The wiring harness utilizes the existing connections (H4 socket: low beam, high beam, and ground) and spade connectors (position light). Due to the new daytime running light function, there is a connection not found on the front headlight assembly that you will need to wire up yourselves. The harness includes a long lead that must be connected to Terminal 15 (any contact that is live when the ignition is switched on).
The entire conversion process is described in detail in the instructions. A quick guide for the initial headlight adjustment is also included at the end; however, you should have the alignment checked by a professional workshop after installation.
What is included in the LED-Conversion-Kit
The LED conversion kit contains everything needed for the conversion:
- 2 x LED low-beam headlights with daytime running lights and position lights
- 2 x LED high-beam headlights with high beam, position light, and turn signal
- Mounting studs for the headlights within the mounting kit
- Complete mounting kit utilizing the vehicle's original mounting points
- Complete wiring harness utilizing the vehicle's original connectors

Options
Protection Grille
We offer our own protective grilles for the LED conversion kit, as any existing grilles are not approved for use with headlights other than the originals. They also provide a significant visual upgrade.

Headlight Range Control
If the vehicle requires a headlight range adjustment system (mandatory for vehicles first registered on or after January 1, 1990), our 12 V or 24 V headlight range adjustment system can be ordered as an option. Due to the different headlight geometry, mounting points, and actuator travel paths, the original adjustment mechanism cannot be reused. The actuators also feature IP6K9K protection.
