With this conversion kit, the IVECO 90-16 and other models with the same bumper can be switched from halogen lighting to LED main headlights.
LED light has several advantages over halogen light (Advantages of LED lighting). Trucks with halogen lights mounted higher up in particular have the problem of poor lighting of the road, especially in bad weather. This is where LED headlights can show their full strengths.
The conversion kit always consists of the four rectangular Nolden NCC AVEGO LED headlights with 1,401 lumens, the mounting system, and a multi-part connection wiring harness. The protective grilles are included in the set.
The two low-beam headlights sit on the outside. Their wraparound ("O") or top-shaded ("U") light guide also works as a daytime running light and position light. On the inside sit two high-beam headlights, whose light guides have no function (mono high-beam headlights).
No extra control unit is needed; the headlights switch automatically in line with the UN ECE regulations. The headlights need no approval, parts certificate, ABE, etc., because they have all the required UN ECE markings (E-mark) for the lighting functions as well as for radio interference suppression. The conversion kits were developed by Lichttechnik in close cooperation with Nolden Engineering to achieve the best performance.

Position light
If the vehicle already has a position light that stays in place despite the conversion kit, you have to use the mono high-beam headlight (light guide without function).
The coating
For the coating, we offer two methods. The base versions are powder-coated. As standard, RAL 9005 (black), RAL 9011 (graphite black), and RAL 9010 (pure white) are offered. Powder coating is a standard method for protecting surfaces. However, it is not very resistant to scratches or damage, which can lead to the coating flaking off over time.
That is why we offer a high-quality Naviton special coating. It consists of three functional layers: layer 1 forms the base and absorbs movement of the material. Layer 2 takes up mechanical energy and works as a buffer layer against stone chips and the like. The third layer is the color layer and provides a very hard, tough, scratch-resistant surface.

The entire bracket material is made of rustproof stainless steel.
The complete set contains all mounting material and ready-made wiring harnesses. Depending on the version, the vehicle connection wiring harness includes a loose cable end for connecting the daytime running light to ignition-switched power (terminal 15).
For installation, we recommend the crimping pliers from Knipex. For the butt connector, you can use the
SL-KN-975237 pliers. You also need a heat gun to fit the heat-shrink tubing.
