This plug is something special. Together with the matching magnetic socket, it is a simple and safe system for routing electrical connections to the exterior of the vehicle. The two contacts of the socket are only powered when they are closed. A magnet holds both together and switches on the power supply inside the can.
The advantages of the system are obvious:
- Fast connection, both when disconnecting and when connecting.
- The surface of the socket is waterproof.
- Secure, firm connection, even with vibrations.
- Suitable for difficult installation positions as it is very flat.
- Magnetic coding prevents wrong connections, e.g. 12V to 24V.
The plug is suitable for 12V connections. The nominal current is 16A. Suits 2.5 mm
