XBB OBD2 high beamlight switch
With the XBB OBD2 Light Switch, you can switch your high beams without the need for mounting additional switches, drilling, or laboriously routing cables into the interior, without crimping, and without CAN bus problems. Simply plug the OBD2 dongle into the OBD2 port and connect it to the XBB PowerUnit via smartphone app.
The installation is incredibly simple. With your own or a Strands wiring harness, the light is connected to the battery. The relay of the wiring harness is replaced by the XBB PowerUnit. The XBB dongle connects to the PowerUnit via Bluetooth 5. Then, the PowerUnit is simply switched on and off via the vehicle's high beam signal at the OBD2 port. The light turns on and off with the vehicle's high beams.
For the setup and pairing of the system, the XBB Control App for Android or iOS must be installed. It connects to the dongle and loads the correct vehicle profile into the dongle. Then, the PowerUnit and the dongle are paired with the app. Done!
The relay corresponds to the European pinout, 5 poles, Type B.
